   Q: What inspired you to start your real estate career?  

A. I retired from teaching and wanted to do something part-time.  I had been involved in flipping real estate and really enjoyed it, so I decided to try my hand at selling real estate.  I fell in love with the feeling of helping people, decided to go at it full time, and wish I had started it years ago!


    Q: What was that moment or time period that you knew you had a passion for helping clients achieve their goals? 

A. I think I have always had a passion for helping people.  I was a school teacher, principal, and college instructor for 24 years before doing real estate full time and it was always so rewarding guiding, teaching, and helping others.  I still educate people, the subject matter is just different now.


    Q: What is the best real estate advice you’ve read or received? 

A. Put others before yourself, and everything else will fall into place.  I’m only successful when others are successful.


    Q: New Realtors® often struggle with lead generation, what would your advice be to a brand new agent in building their business? 

A. Work your sphere of influence – the people who already know, like, and trust you.  You don’t have to sell to them, build relationships with them!  Truly caring about people should always be your priority.


    Q: Although Worth Clark Realty has established itself in many markets, making a switch to a brokerage new to your market can be stressful and there can be many unknowns. What first attracted you to Worth Clark? 

A. The emphasis on agents’ success first drew me to Worth Clark – their mantra so to speak.  Of course, the flat fee commission structure is nice too.


    Q: Has the transition from one brokerage to another been stress-free? 

A. Changing brokerages is never totally “stress-free” but the support offered at Worth Clark certainly made the transition so much easier!


    Q: What would you tell agents in your area who are considering joining Worth Clark? 

A. Do your research, figure out what is important to you.  Give me a call and come grow with us!
