In 100 words or less, describe who you are.
I am a mom of two. I am a DFW native, and my boys and I reside northwest of Fort Worth. I launched my real estate career in 2006. When I’m not camped out at the baseball fields, you can find me spending time with family, making memories, and enjoying life.
What inspired you to start your real estate career?
I wanted to do something that didn’t just provide a paycheck for clocking in and clocking out each day but instead do something impactful, and I wanted to work with a purpose. Real estate fulfills me in ways I never thought possible, allowing me to take part in what is arguably the single most important transaction a person/family will make. This is something I don’t take lightly.
What was the defining moment you knew you were passionate about helping clients achieve their goals?
Once, I had a couple of newlyweds who had worked hard to save and own what would be the first home they had ever lived in that wasn’t rented since growing up. What they didn’t think was possible became possible, and to have them drop to their knees the day we closed on their new home and hear their story while tears poured down their faces. This was something I will never forget, and it was that moment I knew I was right where I was meant to be.
Part of Worth Clark’s mission statement is to help deliver the promise of ownership to our clients and community. How rewarding has this industry been for you, helping many achieve this dream?
This is something that never ceases to lose its value to me. I am reminded of the imperative role we play in a transaction every time I work with a client, which can ultimately lead to the client’s positive or negative association with Realtors®.
What is the best real estate advice you’ve read or received?
There are several ways to do things right in this business, and only one way to do things wrong. The decision is yours.
What are you passionate about outside of real estate?
I am passionate about animals, music, travel, sports, and family.
