Getting Started: An Unexpected Spark

Fresh out of the University of Central Florida and working for AT&T, Chris attended a client appreciation event at a horse track, hosted by his girlfriend’s father, who was a successful real estate broker at the time. It was there, seeing the energy and connections in the room, that he realized real estate might be his calling.

A 23-Year Career Built on Relationships

What keeps Chris in the business after 23 years? It’s simple, the people.

“I love the relationships I make with people,” Chris said. “Some of them I’ve known for 20 years. Now I’m selling homes to their kids.”

His client-focused mindset is grounded in a key lesson he learned early on: real estate is not just about transactions. It's about building genuine, lasting connections.

Advice for New Agents: Be Real, Be Ready

Chris is candid when mentoring newcomers–success doesn't happen overnight.

“This industry has a 90% failure rate,” he explained. “You need to be ready to commit two to three years of your life before it clicks.”

He recalls encouraging a struggling new agent early in his career—someone who eventually found success by staying consistent, just like Chris did years before.

Off the Clock: Sports, Travel, and Family

Outside of real estate, Chris enjoys college basketball (Go UCF and Maryland!), NFL Sundays with the Washington Commanders, and traveling with his wife and son. Recent family trips have included snowboarding in Colorado and fine dining adventures around Florida.
