Most Buyers Start Searching for Homes Online

Your first step towards drawing these buyers to your home is getting it listed it listed in the MLS, featured in Zillow.com and Trulia.com, and showcased on Realtor.com. We provide our clients with a Showcase listing on Realtor.com. Unlike the basic Realtor.com listing, this allows us to include up to 25 photos of your home, a full description, headline, and post open house notices. Also, with a Showcase listing, your home will be highlighted and sorted at the top, above all basic listings when a buyer performs a search.

The MLS is not only the central database for nearly every St. Louis home for sale or rent, but also provides a data feed to all major brokerage websites used to populate their sites with listings. When your home is listed in the MLS, it’s automatically loaded in Zillow.com, Trulia.com, Yahoo! Real Estate, Google, Oodle, Facebook, and the major brokerage websites like cbgundaker.com, remax.com, and prudential.com.

We also encourage our clients to continue to market their homes as for sale by owner on Craigslist, and other FSBO websites. This doubles the marketing efforts, and provides opportunities to find buyers without an agent, so no buyer agent commission is paid.
